01

Choose your starting point.

YOU

Choose a layout for your wall, window, fireplace, doorway or niche. Decide how much open shelving and closed storage you need.

JQ

A collection of established layouts and construction details gives the project a considered foundation.

02

Make it your own.

YOU

Set the available dimensions, compare finishes and explore the room in 3D. An approximate measurement is enough to start the conversation.

DESIGN REVIEW

The room, dimensions and construction requirements are reviewed before your choices become a fabrication specification.

03

Understand the investment.

YOU

Review the cabinetry estimate for your selection and optional services, then send your configuration to JQ for an official estimate.

FINAL QUOTE

The specification, final price, delivery and installation scope are confirmed. The launch collection is paint grade.

04

Bring it into the room.

YOU

Review the agreed design, finish and project arrangements before proceeding.

JQ

The workshop takes the agreed project through fabrication, with delivery and installation arranged for your space.

WHY THE APPROACH MAKES SENSE

Pay for the piece.
Cut the back-and-forth.

The opportunity for a better price starts with a more efficient design process.

By choosing your layout, proportions and finish online, you give the workshop a clear starting point. Established construction details reduce work that would otherwise be repeated for each new commission.

Fewer early design rounds. Clearer decisions. More of the effort focused on making your piece.

Savings depend on your design and scope. Custom fabrication and professional review remain part of the process.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

Good questions.
Clear answers.

Is this really custom?

Yes. Your bookcase is made for the agreed dimensions and finish of your project. The starting layouts and construction approach are already developed; you personalize the options available for your room. A design outside those options needs a separate discussion with JQ.

Why can this be better value?

You explore the initial layout, dimensions and finish yourself, and the workshop starts from established construction details. That can reduce repeated design development and coordination. Your final price depends on the configuration and project scope; there is no fixed savings percentage.

What is included in the estimate?

Your cabinetry estimate is shown in USD, with optional delivery and installation listed separately. Total includes selected service estimates. Delivery requires review. Tax and unpriced items are excluded. JQ confirms the complete quote before fabrication; there is no checkout or automatic order.

Do I need exact measurements to start?

Approximate dimensions help you explore. Final measurements and site conditions must be checked before fabrication, including walls, floors, baseboards, outlets and anything the cabinetry needs to work around.

Does designing online place an order?

No. Exploring or saving a configuration does not place an order. The design, details and project agreement are confirmed before it goes ahead.

How long does it take?

The current collection lead time is 6–8 weeks after the fabrication deposit. Confirm the schedule, delivery and installation arrangements for your project.

Can you work with my designer?

Bring your designer or architect into the conversation whenever you need them. The configurator gives everyone a visual starting point; specialist design input can still be valuable for the wider room or a more complex project.
